Building the Agentic Firm: Announcing Field Financials, Fieldguide MCP and Our Refreshed Brand

When I was an auditor, I would have been thrilled with software that just made the work faster. That's where Fieldguide started, and firms proved it works. But the practitioners we serve have moved past that ambition, and honestly, so have we. The work now is making professional judgment and AI agents operate together across a full engagement. Today's launches, and the refreshed brand alongside them, reflect where the profession is actually headed: How we build the agentic firm, together.

A brand for where the work is going

The refreshed Fieldguide brand, anchored by a new logo and visual identity, is not a new coat of paint. It reflects what Fieldguide has become: the industry's defining agentic AI platform, where practitioners and Field Agents work side by side across the entire arc of an engagement. With the refresh comes a new way of saying what that means:

"Expertise, amplified."

Practitioner expertise does not get replaced in this model. It gets extended and applied to more of the engagement at a pace no single person could keep up with in the traditional paradigm.

Today, we’re also announcing Field Financials and Fieldguide MCP, our latest innovations for practitioners and AI agents building the agentic firm together.

Field Financials: The first agents for financial statement prep

Preparing financials has historically meant a fragmented mix of reports and spreadsheets, rebuilt engagement after engagement. It's some of the most repetitive work in the profession, and it has resisted automation for years because it demands both precision and judgment at once.

Field Financials replaces that with three coordinated agents that draft, validate, and roll forward disclosures, each one working from the firm's own prior-year reports and live trial balance data. When something upstream changes, the agents catch it. Practitioners stay in the reviewer's seat, where their judgment matters most. Fieldguide MCP: Engagement data, wherever practitioners already work

Here's a pattern we kept hearing from firms: practitioners love their AI tools, but those tools can't see the engagement. So people copy, paste, summarize, and shuttle context back and forth by hand. Fieldguide MCP closes that gap. Live engagement data now flows directly into Claude, Copilot, Gemini, and the collaboration tools firms already run on, so a practitioner can check status, chase down open requests, or kick off routine actions without switching contexts. It's been rolling out since July, and what's coming next builds toward something bigger: engagement insight available anywhere a practitioner happens to be working.

Our growing family of Field Agents

Field Financials joins a family of agents already at work. Field Auditor is already running analysis, testing and evidence verification across engagements, with practitioners reviewing every step. Field Orchestrator lets them direct that work in plain language and coordinates the agents underneath. Field Planner and Field Reviewer arrive later this year, extending the same model across the rest of the engagement. Taken together, that's the shape of the agentic firm: practitioners orchestrating, agents executing, and judgment staying exactly where it belongs.

Why this is the moment

Today's announcements build on a period of real momentum for Fieldguide: the first AI platform for audit and advisory to achieve AIUC-1 certification, and partnerships with firms including KPMG, BDO, Cherry Bekaert, Grant Thornton Advisors LLC, and many more. None of that changes what matters most, which is that the model itself, practitioners and Field Agents working every engagement together, is what the next decade of audit and advisory work runs on. Field Financials and Fieldguide MCP move that forward. The brand is evolving to where the work already is.
